Dont recall Cosmic Ghost Rider having anything to rival Thanos. In fact...both Thanos' from both timelines enjoyed starting their mornings with penance stare. Yeah.

I remember cosmic Ghost Rider using his bike to basically run over Dormammu.

Did it do anything to Furnace Face?

And if it did, is this at all in keeping with his power level?

It should be noted that Cosmic Ghost Rider was one of Thanos' lackeys in Ultimates. And also too that when Cosmic Ghost Rider teamed up to fight *a* Thanos, poor Frank was shattered.

So canonically in a straight fight, Thanos is in another league.

I was actually referring to Guardians of the Galaxy Issue #37 where a future team consisting of Firelord (Protector of the Universe), Phoenix, cosmic Ghost Rider and Wonderman teamed up with the original Guardians and Kruggar when Dormammu showed up. This may not be the cosmic GR being referred to in this thread.

It made for an interesting visual where Dormammu's head was knocked back; but Dormammu easily snuffed out GR's flaming skull and the Spirit of Vengeance was down for the count.

CGR straight out killed Thanos with his hellfire in Cosmic Ghost Rider #5 when he got angry and cut loose.

That was a future Thanos, so probably does not count, but he seemed plenty powerful.

This GR is the most recent version.

Reading the wiki I don’t get it

His power levels all over the place, he’s a slave to Thanos but this version of Thanos kills Galactus.

Then he gets killed by the fallen one but I’m not sure how powerful he is.

Then he kills a young version of Thanos so he’s def got decent power.

In a straight fight, he was a lot less potent then Thanos. The Galactus killing thing was typical SMvFL nonsense.

Although, he might still eek out a 10 count? Using the Bones of Cytorrak to trap him? Depends on where you put his speed.
