With Harley Quinn taking a more comedic turn the last few years I have to wonder is DC trying to turn Her into their Deadpool. Her comics take on more of a slapstick role and go away from what she was when she started out. So I just thought I would ask this question.

I live for the day when Keith Giffen decides to do another Ambush Bug comic. You want fourth wall breaking humour that will make your ears bleed and your eyes melt, Ambush Bug was the pure uncut street drug of self-reflexiveness. Accept no substitutes. Deadpool isn't good enough to hold Ambush Bug's jock strap.

Part of the problem is that Deadpool is generally hated and mistrusted for being a fairly scummy guy in-universe by the hero community, but Harley is pushed as a strong female role model that's liked by pretty much everyone in the hero community regardless of how violent she is.
