I'm rereading UXM #500 and Way back when The X-Men first moved to San Francisco , There was meant to be a character named Wolverine Eagle said to be joining the X-Men but he never appeared or maybe I missed it? Does anyone have any info on this guy. , He even appeared between Iceman and Beast on the cover of Uncanny X-Men #500 (I'm new I don't know how to post pics yet , sorry).

The only thing I can think of would be Thunderbird. He was a member of the All-New, All-Different team and was the first member to die in action, way back in Uncanny #95. I did look at the covers for #500 and he was on one variant cover, and technically was between Beast and Iceman, but there were other characters closer to him. His brother is Warpath who is a longtime member of X-Force.
