In DC, Atlanteans can look like normal humans of any ethnicity. They can also be mer-people, or humanoid fish creatures. DC has different species of Atlanteans.

Thank You! I'm Atlantean myself, and I hate it when people ask me, "Oh, you live in the ocean? Why aren't you blue?" Well, you live on Earth's land, why aren't you green? I also hate it when I tell people where I'm from and they say, "Oh, you're Atlantean? Do you know (insert name)?" No! I don't know every Atlantean. Atlantis is a big place! GaWD!
