New episode (The "semi finale") didn't have any major deaths, mainly sort of introduced Princess, and also showing that Judith is becoming uncomfortable with killing living humans (She also misses Michonne but it looks like Daryl will be her main parental figure), as well as Lydia struggling with her mother's death. Looks like Luke is tech support while Eugene's away.

Beta also seems to be even more insane, hearing Alpha's voice in his head and starting to speak like her too, which is even unsettling the other Whisperers.

It's been a while, but bumping this for the "bonus" season 10 extension.

I'm not paid full attention to this episode, but it appears that the new bad guys seem to use old fashioned camo-a bit different from the blood and guts approach that the main characters and of course the Whisperers have used.

Any thoughts on the new episode? Seemed a bit more low-key after the Whisperer war but it's important to remember this was filmed under Covid restrictions.

Kind of interesting after years of "zombie camo"-which of course went to the extreme with the Whisperers-we now have actual camoflauge.

Wonder if next episode is a bit of a set up for the Daryl/Carol spinoff going by the previews. Maybe they'll finally kiss or something.

In this we see that the new villains "THE REAPERS" are introduced. Maggie reveals at the end they destroyed the last community in Knoxville they were at. And now they are being hunted by them.


- The Reapers seem to be either ex-military or ex-mercs who use tactics like camo to blend into grass/dirt as we see in Call of Duty game.

- The Reapers are the 1st villains newly created for the series as the Whisperers were the last comic book villains from the comic book series.

I wouldn't say they're the first ones. The Termites and Wolves have comic counterparts of a sort but not quite the same; also the Hospital group from Beth's arc, the Claimers etc.


The bonus episodes seem to be mainly bottle episodes, as they were presumably filmed during the height of the pandemic. The one last night for example. Next one seems to focus on Aaron and Gabriel, presumably the Negan origin might be after that.
