New Marvel mini-series leading up to episode 9

First is "Allegiance" that will bridge some of the gap year. Seems to have Rey fighting what looks like Boba Fett's emblem (although it doesn't seem to be the AOTC creature that looks a bit similar).

The amount of faces on the cover and the title kind of remind me a bit of the gap comics for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen: https://www.ntfa.net/ntfa/comics/idw/alliance.php


The second is the Rise of Kylo Ren, which will also feature the knights of Ren, but it's unclear whether this "Rise" deals with him becoming Ren in the first place, or him taking over as First Order leader.


The latter kind of fits with Episode 9 info saying we'll get more info on the beginning of the First Order and the knights in the film.

I predict that both will be fairly rote and contain almost nothing of real interest.
