Different time, different market. The same books would probably do poorly today

I have very biased opinions and i like to voice for the things i like but I'm not trying to deppreciate other things. The line is thin and blur sometimes.

The X-Men had their most dramatic sales drop under Fraction. UXM went from averaging 80k sales a month to 55k.

It was the highest selling ongoing at Marvel. It got relaunched despite doing the best out of all marvels books.

It was being relaunched because that was the thing at the time.

Number 1s all around. Uncanny was the last book to relaunch

I think we can afford 2 more titles,

Aren’t we always yelling about diluting the brand?

These 6 titles need to sell in order to justify a large Wave 2 of 4-6 more books,

But I’m thinking 3 of these initial titles will not last past 12 issues, in that case we’ll need replacements

It is what the charts say. Hence why I said it was the highest ongoing at Marvel.

It was WATXM that was flailing

Hickman said Kurt will be in the books, and he'll be "super-important". "I don't know what you'll like it, but he'll serve as a elder statements isn't the right word, but it might give you the right kind of feel. It's difficult to talk about those books coming out without understanding what we're setting up before that. But it makes perfect sense inside o the new status quo going forward. I think people are going to get it - he is going to be mission-critical to one of the things inside the books. That's super vague, I'm sorry.

Also definitely looks like Hickman is going to bring Skin and Synch back (saying some poc will return and that Gen X wil be fixed)

I'm sorry this just reads like hyperbole. You saw the same vitriol when the O5 came to the present and fans were screaming "NOT MAH JEAN/CYCLOPS/BOBBY". From the little I've seen of Cable in X-Force he's pretty alright he's written as a younger inexperienced Cable which is I'm guessing the point? Just appreciate the character for who it is because soon enough you'll have your roided up Old Man Cable back.

I hope that includes Monet staying brown. I wonder if it will also include sliding timescale again. If Synch comes back, he'd be a teen, meanwhile Monet would be an adult, which would be awkward. So I wonder if the GenX kids will get some de-aging done, then when Synch comes back he x Monet can rekindle. Then again, puts a 14-year-old Jubilee raising a baby.
