The whole point of these books is to do something new and exciting. Nightcrawler on a pirate ship, or in Excalibur, is neither of those things.

A swashbuckling book (swashbook?) with no Kurt? And both Storm and Emma being led by Kitty? I don’t foresee a smooth dynamic there. How many naps is poor ‘Ro gonna take in this one? Where the hell has Lockheed been, and has he learned how to say “pieces of eight”? Will it be Bobby and Pyro’s job to create the mysterious fog they suddenly appear out of? So many questions.

But yeah, I’m honestly excited for every single one of these books. Especially Excalibur (obviously) - really feeling Jube’s new suit! And speaking of non-smooth dynamics...Apocalypse?

It's a nod. I can only see the names of the OG X-Force. Nathan, Neena, Tabitha, Gaveedra and Maria being the more obvious.
