Eternals was always like a third rate Inhumans or New Gods knock-off in my opinion and there wasn't a lot of quality books produced about them. The concept is interesting enough though

She's worked with Disney on the Lion King so she's trying tl break into acting and being the lead in a film with an all-star cast is a great way to get in, and she'd be perfect for the role. Disney's creative with their casting and so far it's worked.

Hm, I’ve always been a bit iffy about casting musical artists in films. But from what I remember, Beyoncé was alright in dreamgirls. That and if she does get cast, you know the beyhive is gonna be a HUGE help in promoting the film.

So excited for this, what a cast! Feels like the perfect time to reinvent The Eternals in 616 and go with the characters in the film...go all the way.

While Eternals have a small fan base, I’m one of them, Marvel can afford to reimagine the property and align it with the MCU, since many of the characters will be so different in the film. I say this obviously having no information about the movie, aside from cast and characters.

I also know data suggests movies don’t drive comic sales but my niece loves MCU Wanda and asked me to give her some Scarlet Witch comics. I did and she couldn’t get into it, said she feels like a totally different character.

I'm actually a huge Eternals fan, so them getting a movie is music to my ears.

Maybe she is, and that's why it's taking longer to announce her casting, because they're still looking for the right actress? I find it hard to believe Sersi won't be a part of this. She was probably the most relatable Eternal and the one who had the biggest history outside of the group. It makes zero sense to erase her, of all characters.

Yeah, I'm really surprised Sersi hasn't been announced yet given she was the purported lead and, as obscure as the Eternals are, probably the most popular member.

I know Ikaris is the "face" of the Eternals, so unsurprisingly Madden seems to be the lead, but not really sure what direction they're going in otherwise.

Also Selma Hayek is playing Ajax, if my memory serves me correctly isn't Ajax supposed to be a man?

Yep same thing with Makkari and Sprite I'm really annoyed since Ikkarus and Makkari's bromance is probably ome of my favorite aspects of Eternals
