Default Biggest Comic Con 2019 announcements

What were the biggest DC announcements from Comic Con 2019?

From the comics side, it definitely sounds like DC is headed towards a new Crisis in 2020.

A lot of great news from the DC tv worlds. Young Justice season 4 and Doom Patrol season 2 confirmed! Plus Brandan Routhe reprising Superman in the CW Crisis special as well as Bert Ward set to appear in an undisclosed role!

    1. YJ, Doom Patrol, and Titans get new seasons
    2. The animated movies for 2020 are Superman: Red Son, Justice League Dark: Apokolips War, and Superman: Man of Tomorrow
We really didn’t get much of anything comic book wise.

DC didn't even have a booth for promoting its comics this year...just its CW TV series.

Nothing from their comics. Just discussion on what people already surmised. There was talk about Year of the villain and Wally but it was just talk. A new crisis like you pointed out.

TV division had a lot of announcements.

Boring year. Not even the DCU announcements sparked excitement.

Wait what?? Two superman movies!!! What is happening? Why isn't nobody talking about this in the Superman forum? I guess, the death of superman movie had something to do with this. I hope they turn out good.

I was about to say, I really have not heard anything from DC this year. Are there still announcements coming today? All I heard yesterday was from Marvel.

Maybe not so interesting from the movie side of things, but that just gave more attention to the TV shows, animated projects and other things.

WB and the other movie studios were probably wise to avoid doing stuff in the hall--since they could do stuff outside that venue and they could drop stuff on the web, without having to pay all that money for inside SDCC.

Talk is cheap, especially when DiDio is concerned.

Whether they really have "a new Crisis in 2020", and how big a deal it may or may not turn out to be, remains to be seen. (When Doomsday Cluck was first announced, did anybody really think it would be dragged out as long as it has been so far? And how much impact will it have on DC as a whole compared to what people originally expected?)

To be honest this has been a fairly underwhelming and boarderline fail on DC. What excitement is there for any of their properties outside of the television universe? They better be thankful for Greg Berlanti because that is really the only thing they have to brag about at the moment.

I think the tv shows were the only highlight for DC. No real major announcements as far as comics and pretty much crickets chirping when it comes to DC movies.

I think the biggest thing were definitely the announcements regarding the TV Crisis on Infinite Earths, along renewals for DC Universe shows, and the 2020 Animated Feature slate (two Superman movies!).

I would say this is the biggest fail and most underwhelming ComiCon for DC, especially given Marvel's announcements.

Honestly I feel the only big news to come from DC is that Didio is mad facsimiles are outselling some of their newer comics.

Really concerned for the future of DC.
