I'm sure it's just me, but A-Poc looking like he just stepped out of a Kanye album. I finally got a chance to pick up and read Excalibur and I was pleasantly surprised by the art and the setup of the overall story thus far. I dig the plot thread between A-Poc and Gambit, but I hope Howard follows through with proper buildup. I skimmed over the Braddock pages due to me not being very interested in Braddock family matters, but overall, including the parts with Jubes and Shogo, I was surprised and I just might pick up the second issue.

Also: I couldn't help but read A-Poc's intro as the same as Suge Knight's pitch for artists to join Death Row, or in this case, Krakoa from back in the day.

Loved Linda McQuillan, with her Bo Derek hair. I really want Emelia Witherspoon, there’s not enough Blythe Spirit* in comics these days. Oh, there’s so much CB/Otherworld stuff to play with.

Psylocke was a much more recognizable character then Captain B so it almost feels like a demotion to me. I hope the story of Betsy as Captain already has an ending point planned tbh.

I think CB would be a nice way to insert her into the movies. I believe "Agent Braddock" was mentioned in either Captain Marvel or one of the more recent Avengers.

Everyone keeps saying Agent Braddock was heard in the movie Endgame. But i havent seen anyone post it. And I watched that movie so many times. No one says Agent Braddock. Do someone like the directors talk about it in like the movie commentary section?

Yeah Psylocke is recognizable but they definitely are letting Kwannon keep that. Especially for movies, animated shows, and toys.

During a meeting with other agents in his office in 1970, Peggy Carter reported that Braddock hadn't checked in that day.
