It's only six episodes. If you're curious, I'd say it's worth watching

A 12-year-old Seiya, barely tapping into his Cosmos, Oneshot a military attack helicopter with his first-ever Pegasus Ryuseiken.
There is no "overkill". There is only "open fire" and "I need to reload.".

I like to think the 90s was the time when comics hit puberty. They’d grown out of being endearing but hadn’t yet figured out where to channel their emotions to not be utterly whiny cocks. -Beadle

Yeah I tried watching it and managed about two minutes before I had to shut it off. The animation is like, PS3 quality. Also they're calling their armours armour, and it's killing me because I've got a lifetime of retuning my brain to call them cloths behind me.

The CGI Legend of Sanctuary movie is pretty good though.

Legend of Sanctuary had a great art direction and production values:

    Also, the soundtrack is great!

It's the only time in the history of Saint Seiya that the fights looked good.

Also my favourite thing about that scene is that everyone harmlessly knocks their badguys off screen except Cygnus who freezes and shatters his.

    Bad idea.

I agree. Like I said if you can't watch the original anime it's better than nothing, even if it is rushed and uneven.

Sorry for going off-topic but does anyone know a way to see the original series?

    Exactly.

Plus during the fight with the mercenaries Seiya showed that he can "curve" his blasts in mid-flight. That is he's not limited to firing them in a straight line.

Not sure on the fight itself, but that particular move is not going to be an issue for Diana, She can easily block them with her shield, bracers or deflect them with her AOE.

Battle of the warriors highly trained from a young age by a secret Greek society guarding ancient secrets!

I haven't watched Netflix either but I Wonder if her bracelets repealing/absorbing capabilities could tilt things regarding his Cosmo powered attacks, since Seiya famously suffers the more the gutsy high powered fisticuffs become more esoteric.

If it's comic book Wonder Woman instead, does it significantly impact the result?

Post crisis Diane is a significant fraction of light speed. She should be able to handle early Seiya

Shouldn't she be able to beat any version of Seiya?

I don't know later Seiya stuff that well butt I've heard of things like dashing across multiple galaxies and other such silliness which would be a bit out of Wondy's paygrade.
