He also didn't mention the following things that are important:
- Moon Boy & Devil Dinosaur, Moon Boy is "the first human," and Devil Dinosaur, along with the rest of the Devil Beasts in the Valley of Flames, shows among the first instances of "super-mutation" among an Earth-based species.

All the others you mentioned, plus many more, were on the timeline Mark Waid worked from, but there's only so many pages, so I guess he felt the other events listed were more relevant to the overall tale. However, Devil and Moon Boy are not from Earth-616's prehistory. They originate from the modern day alternate Earth, as evidenced in Fallen Angels and other stories.

- K'un-Lun.
- The Uni-Power/Enigma Force (Captain Universe).
- Dormammu triying acces Earth.
- Centurius and his rivalry with Zarathos.
- The Cotati.
- The Builders should have been mentioned when they referred the start of the Shi'ars and the other races interfering with evolution, the Celestials being behind the Skrulls and The Progenitors being behind the Kree. Doesn't make much difference to mention that The Builders were behind the Shi'ar or The Beyonders being behind The Nuwali.
- Moon Boy & Devil Dinosaur, Moon Boy is "the first human," and Devil Dinosaur, along with the rest of the Devil Beasts in the Valley of Flames, shows among the first instances of "super-mutation" among an Earth-based species.
- A few important details regarding the Eternals have been left out like the exiled Uranian faction and Kronos's big experiment which caused Earth's Eternals to be cosmically empowered.
- The Beyonders.

All of that cosmic restructuring Ewing just did. First Firmament, etc.

Honestly, you could probably make 4 books out of things that happened before the Earth cooled.

I expected orders of magnitude better.

I am looking forward to read the rest of this limited series.
This is a interesting read for sure,i thought i had some knowledge of the far ancient history of the marvel universe,but i did not even read half of the stories referenced in the first chapter.lol.
And art wise,Javier Rodriguez illustrations are awesome.

What we do have is incredibly wide-ranging and covers the most significant events nicely. But yes, with the best will in the world, there was no way he could cover everything without massively upping the issue count for the series. Just in the historical period covered by this issue, you could also have:

Wayfinder and the Sword in the Star, leading to the evolution of the Microverse and the Engima Force.
The crash of K'un-Lun on Earth and the war with the H'ylthri.
Skrull Deviants who turned to black magic, becoming Dire Wraiths.
Thongor of Lemuria.
Zarathos vs. the Blood.
Kull.
Atlanteans discovering the Savage Land and creating the larger Pangea theme park.
The first Talisman vs. Llan the Sorcerer.
Necrom, Feron and Merlyn attempting to harness an interdimension alignment and the Phoenix Force.
Hyboria - Conan and Red Sonja.
The early Ghost Riders.
Maha Yogi gaining immortality around the same time as Bloodstone.
The Caretakers (from Fortisque) crashing on Earth and creating early werewolves.
Black Axe.
The Tribe of the Moon.
The Chosen Eight of Fate (or, if you prefer, the first Guardians of the Galaxy)
Suma-Ket and the Unforgiven Dead vs. the Faceless Ones to save Atlantis.
The Dragon of the Moon destroys the first Titan colony of Eternals.
Dynaman helps Pharaoh Amenhotep protect Egypt from invasion.
Amenhotep overthrown by Rama-Tut and turned into a vampire.
Set unleashes Gog and Magog on Egypt.
The overthrow of the K'un-Lun conqueror and tyrant Chianming and the creation of the Eighth City to imprison him and his followers.
Living Mummy.
Beowulf vs. Grendel.
Naga uses the Serpent Crown to conquer Lemuria.
