    with selene. AGAIN

if he begs with control and his unblocked powers he absorbs it rogue wins today

Selene we know has serious limitations. She is fast drying humans. With mutants or beings with powers she is very slow and can easily cut contact as longshot and the boyfriend of Rictor did. and they don't have super strength. and they left ridiculous selene. with rogue these things don't happen or very rarely

As we know she has serious limitations in her vital energy drainage. unless something helps her.

but as I said rogue with control is much more powerful and his powers are increasing. Those who were immune to his power are no longer imlo. like cofthevault that have artificial powers. or better yet Simon Wonderman who was previously completely immune to rogue. and with control you already know the story. wman a character that selene wouldn't do anything other than just making a fool of himself.

if they face now selene will be very bad selene lol. at least if they are written with consistency rogue powers go up. Selene is an old woman whose powers are in decline. and has never drained really powerful characters. .roga if still locked showed higher level than selene.

Don't confuse being immune or resistant with being more powerful lol.

It is not limited only to mutants ... and does not wear out with a few different powersets. I hope it wears out. rogue can take hundreds or thousands. I don't say that. That is embodied in the comics. Sorry this is the true
Your argument still sounds as if you're suggesting Rogue should be on the official list of Omegas over Hope. That doesn't make sense to me personally. Their DOMINANT power is whats taken into account to warrant an omega classification. Hope should not be used as a compare or contrast for why Rogue should or shouldn't be here imo. They're in two different lanes speaking solely about their individual abilities. If I misinterpreted your points then I apologize.

Let's look back at the story that first defined Omega mutants and revealed that Jean and Bobby were omegas from the X-Men Forever 2001 mini series...

I get loving a character but it really aintt that deep to fight with strangers about them being omega or not... its just aint.. Besides there are many characters who could be omega that are not listed and it is what it is.. The characters are still worthy of fan love and still able to be superheroes.. tbh think about how many of the omegas have great characterization. In many cases they had to be killed, depowered many times for them to viable in stories.. The thing you should want for your character is a good writer who gets them and writes them well in stories.

In X-Men Forever 2001-- Jean, Bobby, Mystique, Toad, and Juggernaut are another special group of 5 individuals. They are the "Cataclysm Keys" who are able to stop the Stranger from usurping Eternity or some such. Bobby represented the untapped mutant potential as an omega mutant who had barely begun to explore his potential. Jean represented the tapped mutant potential (the touchstone--the combo of omega mutant and Phoenix Force really unnerved the fundamental forces). The basic story is about how humans (evolving into mutants and beyond) might one day replace the fundamental forces (like evolving into Eternity) and present a challenge to the fabric of reality.

Franklin and Legion are also name dropped due to their power.

I posted some Iceman scans from X-Men Forever in his thread. His omega potential was evidenced by his being able to reform from moisture after being incinerated/evaporated. He was also able to travel long distances by melting down and reforming from rain. He could also travel through moisture/vapor. He described feeling as if he was everywhere and a part of everything. He could also freeze and unfreeze very large objects.

Jean's omega status was next mentioned in New X-Men #128

and then again in New X-Men #134

In New X-Men, Jean's omega status seemed to center on her "expanding telekinetic senses" and "extreme telekinetic sensitivity". She could move atoms and molecules, inspect molecular ringtones, and could feel the pulse of someone touching something she was levitating. She could make blood clot by thinking about it and suspend motor functions. She could levitate 50 tons of concrete, train cars and create a make-shift spacecraft out of debris.

Her telepathy was also very strong with her being able to house Xavier's mind--split it and recollect it-- and connect to the Phoenix Consciousness through the crown chakra of her mind. The cuckoos described her as being able to see into the hardest skulls. Jean could even detect drugs in someone's system by examining a memory of that person (as she did while rampaging through Emma's memories)! She was also able to thwart Cassandra's psychic booby traps in New 121. She was shown able to steer large crowds, edit memories, absorb information, and calm angry crowds with her telepathy throughout the run. Additionally, Jean seemed to sense things before they happened and had a degree of clairvoyance throughout New X-Men as well. Jean described feeling as though her senses were expanding beyond all boundaries and that she could see more of everything like colors on fire burning in every direction. As White Phoenix of the Crown she had total telekinetic control of matter at the atomic level and could manipulate time and space and was able to change (or nudge) Scott's mind from her position in the White Hot Room.

Quentin's omega telepathy was described in terms of having "a see-through mind", experiencing "millions of brilliant thoughts per second" and his telepathy being "deep and subtle" (Riot at Xavier's storyline). He could see through illusions and could easily see people's insecurities. He could manipulate people in subtle ways. He had no trouble trapping Wolverine in a psychic puzzle of sorts. At the end his brain cells turned into "faster than light energy" and he entered the White Hot Room. He described hearing thoughts in every language and could experience aspects of the past and future. In Endsong, he came back with telekinesis as well.

Mystique and Toad were effectively turned into their movie versions but it never stuck.
