Let's not be too hard on them. Maybe most were accidental? I mean no sane person would one star this, right? RIGHT!?

As per my own review, it's almost, but not quite, five stars, so four and half. Even so, as a fan of the X-Men since the 90's, I haven't been this genuinely excited for the direction they're taking since Grant Morrison's New X-Men. And the complex worldbuilding Jonathan Hickman is doing here absolutely blew me away. House of X #1 was exactly the bold, creative shake-up the X-Men so desperately needed after the last ten years. Really looking forward to reading the rest of series, along with Powers of X now.

Finally got around to actually reading this.

Awesome! Kudos to Hickman for reinventing the wheel as usual. Very excited to see where it goes from here..

Cyclops got the most bad ass moment I've read in ages. Absolutely wonderful stuff

That's a full four stars more than the most recent slate has been getting in the eyes of many posters, though.

We should just unquestioningly consume the product instead.

Don't take your 'Joker who appears too many times' frustration on the X-Men

    It doesn't.
Criticizing a minority movement and criticizing a minority are not the same thing.

Minority movements are political institutions with their own agendas and do NOT represent the totality of a minority.

Understand that avoid unfounded accusations like the FF is suffering.

Oh, no kidding! The previous weekly Uncanny X-Men run, with it's whole "let's kill off a mutant every issue" became an absolute trainwreck.

I hope that run goes down in X-Men history as one of the worst comics runs ever.

Thats usually the m.o. of this forum...the first half is whole hearted acceptance and then a gradual shift towards negativity towards the weekend. If the ensuing storyline becomes really bad...ala Rosenberg...it becomes almost exclusively negative.
And if a story is almost repugnant ...Age of X...it becomes almost ignored completely.

I hope we see some more interaction between the X-Men and the Fantastic Four.
