Is the krakoa language Hickman’s creation or was it in the mythos before?
“And I urge you to please notice when you are happy, and exclaim or murmur or think at some point, 'If this isn't nice, I don't know what is.” ― Kurt Vonnegut Jr.
"We come into this world alone and we leave the same way. The time we spent in between - time spent alive, sharing, learning together... is all that makes life worth living." - Jean Grey
I loved it but I'm dreading what fate awaits our Mutants. So many questions little answers. My mind screams MORE MORE MORE MORE
Who’s excited for powers of x 1?
Anywayyyyy yeah that “Jean and Scott” thing was definitely a fakeout. That’s Vulcan.
I think that everyone has been focusing on the obvious “this is so strange” that the twist will be that intentions aren’t as malicious as originally interpreted. Things that have been pointed out as strange like Jean reverting to Marvel Girl or Cyclops in new duds or unexplained resurrections aren’t ending with HOXPOX, we see that Dawn of X titles show that these changes will stick.
Rahne makes perfect sense. Without them speaking and just getting a quick glimpse, Rahne and Vulcan would give off an appearance of Jean and Scott. Maybe Rahne was one of the mandated deaths and that’s why there was so much emphasis above all other deaths in Rosencanny, because we needed to set up a bit of a mystery.
I completely agree! That's been why I haven't bought the pod-people theory.
Say it IS the case? Are we NOT finding out during Hox and PoX? Or we are, and then we follow the continued adventures of the plantelgänger X-Men? Or they're exposed and the originals are restored, and then they keep using Krakoa, and wearing the outfits the dupes wore?
Clearly stuff's going on on multiple levels, on multiple fronts, but the "Xavier MUST be the Maker!" and "those MUST be pod-people" ideas never really clicked for me. They're obvious, and yet non-sensical if looked at with all the information we have access to, I think.
Good point! That could absolutely be the redhead at the beginning of HoX.
