You have to admit that Hickman has really succeeded in starting a conversation.

We have several thread active about HoX/PoX and DoX.
All the threads are very active with lots of people posting.

The X-Books part of the forum has the most people actively viewing at any given time.

This even has been a huge advertising win for the X-Books as a whole, I bet HoX and PoX top the sales chart for their run, and that the new books coming up post in the top 20 if not the top 10. I expect X-Men and X-Force might break the top 10 and Excalibur and Maruaders the top 20, and possibly New Mutants in the top 20 or 30. Fallen Angels is the only book I am not sure how well it's going to do because it has an unusual premise with alternate versions of two known characters.

Gotta love how the last 15 years of XBooks can pretty much be ignored you just gotta know Jean came back, Magneto joined the XMen and Scemma broke up and u can jump from the end of Morrisson run to this without any hiccup. I hate Marvel.

Well the book has to be accessible so people can jump straight to it, It's not like people are losing too much

I liked the issue well enough, but the mind control plotline is a tad obvious for my taste.

They let Sabretooth, a serial-killer with hundreds of human and mutant deaths to his name, run a mission where he would potentially come into contact with humans. Jean, Scott & Storm were okay with this bloodbath-waiting-to-happen?

Krakao is probably a linked mutant hive-mind that boosts the protective characteristics of its members, and reduces empathy towards everyone else. The orange pods most likely have something to do with this link, as Xavier (if that is Xavier) looks like a deranged puppet-master manipulating his new puppets in those pages.

Not to mention that this whole ordeal will, once again, put every mutant on an easy to hit island in the ocean. If this "Xavier" turns out to be Cassandra Nova (or someone similar), herding the mutant people towards their doom, it would not suprise me.

Though I doubt that Hickman would pull a second Genosha.

While I did really like this issue and, overall, like the idea of the X-Men now running their own mutant nation instead of a school....this is just way too perfect to last.

The mutants happy and united more than they've EVER been. Magneto's a good(ish) guy again. Xavier's back (maybe). These are all things I've wanted to see for a long time....but all of it happening at the same time makes me slightly nervous lol.
