I'd love to see a reunion for her and Namora and Namor. Perhaps now that Namor has taken a heel turn she'll show up?

She's a flying brick. She's ripe for picking by the avengers or even the X-Men.

She should be used more, for sure, especially with the current storyline in Avengers with Namor. She also should be taking a keen interest in what the Champions are doing (bit late for that now with it's cancellation announced), as their mission is essentially the same as that of the original New Warriors.

It's clear as day that the problem Nita has is that Nova (she was resurrected by time displacement during DnA's run, then Rich went to the cancerverse, and when Sam finally rescued him in the most recent book, it was cancelled before he could be reunited with the New Warriors), Namor (the book she originates from), and New Warriors (where she made the majority of appearances) are all not being published right now.

She has super strength, not invulnerability. Did the writer (Barry Dutter, who I've never heard of) think she was Marvel's answer to Wonder Woman? Those bullets shouldn't just bounce off her.

That origin paragraph at the top is wrong too - that's Namor's origin. Namorita was cloned from Namora.

People are/were in the habit of ignoring John Byrne, something I think we all would be better off doing.

Also, why wouldn't Namorita be bullet proof? Wonder Woman isn't, because she's mystical and her bracelets act as a demonstration of skill. Everyone else in her weight class is bullet proof

Her mother is bullet proof (of which Nita is a clone) and so is her cousin Namor. So it makes sense for Nita to be bullet proof too.
