Looks interesting. Also, I don't think these are alternate reality characters because he is showing us the future of the main 616 reality (if it continues as it is) much like Morrison did in Here Comes Tomorrow. Of course fans will always label these types of characters and stories as AU... so it will just be one of those things.

I mean within the context of HoX/PoX this is definitely supposed to be the 616 future. But I'm sure some future writer is gonna do their own thing retroactively making this future and AU version.

Yup! It's become cliche, but for the intents and purposes of this story, it's *the* future.

It's absolutely familiar territory for X-Men runs, but it doesn't feel like it's all something we've seen before, not with the way it it's interacting with the storyline in the "present."
