Yes, but I think Emma, Jean, Logan,Hank,Magneto or Scott would notice if "X" was really evil Reed Richards so my guess is that it really is Charles but he´s acting really strange for reasons we may see in future issues, or he´s dark charles or Onslaught is back but I really want him to be Charles it makes the story more interesting imo.

I know, I said that just in the hypothetical case that if the Maker tried to take the place of Xavier using technology his thoughts or smell could give him away and also because the X-men know him well so "X" really must be Charles but Hickman likes to play with perception so he could be Xavier but not the Charles we know.

In appearance they are extremely similar. As far as personality goes I don't have enough to go on after just HoX but that books does make me think that Prof X could be taking a stance similar to the Maker. By that I mean he thinks he knows better than everyone (and is actually right) but other refuse to accept it.
