I think restorative nostalgia is the number one issue with comic book fans.
A fine distinction between two types of Nostalgia:

Reflective Nostalgia allows us to savor our memories but accepts that they are in the past
Restorative Nostalgia pushes back against the here and now, keeping us stuck trying to relive our glory days.

You can't stare at Guy Gardner's glorious butt here, you can stare at his tears instead.

Whatever you can come up with an argument for counts.

I have to admit Loki's last name doesn't immediately come to mind. But it reminds me....doesn't Superman have a thing with female acquaintances with the "LL" initials? Lana Lang, Lois Lane, Lori Lemaris (have to admit I never heard of her before)

In one of the stranger cases how Marvel plays fast and loose with Norse mythology, Loki is the son of Laufey there, but Laufeyson would be viewed as a matronymicon, not a patronymicon. In the sagas, Loki's father is nstead Fárbauti.

This was your daily piece of worthless knowledge about Norse mythology.

Yeah, that was referenced in an earlier entry.

    There's also:

    Lyla Lerrol
    Lena Luthor
    Lucy Lane

And that's just women, and just off the top of my head.
