I havnt really read a lot of stuff with Venom. I am reading early Spiderman and havnt made it to the 90s yet. But I saw there was a Venom ongoing. Is this worth reading? Will I be lost if I pick it up?

If you mean the current Venom series by Donny Cates, it is worth reading, and you will not be lost.

Yeah, the current Venom series has mostly been doing its own thing (and is very good) so I would say definitely check it out if you are even a bit interested.

It's quite accessible, and is introducing new concepts, part of a largely successful effort to give Venom an identity outside of Spider-Man.

Yeah, you really don't need to get into much of the Venom backstory in order to read the current ongoing.

I have never read a solo Venom title before this current run and it is absolutely easy to jump in and VERY enjoyable/intriguing. Highly recommend!!
