So, which version of Otto do you like best? This is a tough choice for me but I have to go with the classic Dr. Ock version, although just barely as I also like his Superior Octopus and Superior Spider-Man forms.
Dr. Octopus - The Original
Superior Spider-Man - Anti-Hero Spider-Man
Superior Octopus - The Best of Both Worlds

"So you've come to the end now alive but dead inside."
Going against the grain here, but I really like Doc Ock's Superior Octopus look. It has Spider-Man's sleekness with the Doc Ock's arms. Very cool and modern looking.
But it BARELY beat out my number two pic, which was the regular Doc Ock look. Still, which Dr. Octopus look are you referring to? As a fan of the 90s, especially Erik Larsen's run, I've always been partial to Doc Ock's white suit and tie look:
Keeping it classy, doc!
"I am a man of peace."
"A man of peace...who fights like ten tigers."
The PS4 version.
Original if we're sticking to comics.
My all-time favorite version is from Spectacular Spider-Man:
Superior Spider-Man
Spectacular Cartoon
Ends of the Earth
Ultimate
60's (Although I think I like him in the Romita-era more)
If the PS4 game had better boss fights I'd put him high up there
Superior Octopus was pretty fun, but I prefer him being Spider-Man over it, and if he's gonna be a villain then I'd want him to look more visually distinct from Peter like usual
I don't blind date I make the direct market vibrate
I agree. Bill Salyers sounds a lot like Peter MacNicol too. Whether he was intentionally channeling him or not, they have similar voices. Salyers feels like if you blended the Peter MacNicol and Alfred Molina versions together.
As for my favorite version, MacNicol definitely gets the cake, followed closely by Salyers, then probably a toss up between Molina or Zimbalist Jr from the 90s series. MacNicol is so much dun, and I love how over the top he is. He feels like the comic book version (pre. Superior) come to life.
