I just realized that I don't have the faintest clue about the current roster of the Avengers. It's been a few years since I read a new Avengers comic.
Against the original Avengers, Malekith's biggest problem would be Thor. And also Iron Man, who probably actually wore iron armor back then, which would make him immune to any direct magical attacks by Malekith.
