*The buyer decided which titles to give his blessing and thumb up in the solicitations thread opened at the beginning of each month,

*You don’t have to be a plotter to be a buyer, but if you’re a plotter, coming monthly in the solicits thread is a fundamental guideline.

In her first session with the mysterious man, resident psychiatrist Dr. Quinn notes a trait of uncontrollable laughter when the prisoner is pressed and an unsettling grin that never leaves his face. He doesn't want help, but he wants to be here. It doesn't make sense...

All coming from England. Catwoman happens to be there as well. But the men she made a deal with don't intend to pay up, or expect her to survive to talk about what she may have done for them. It's a cut throat business. Can Selina scratch her way out of it?
    • Recap: Along Gotham Harbor at the most exclusive underground party of the year. The Masked Ball in Batman's honor. Open to only the town's most corrupt, wealthiest, and vilest criminal element. The Riddler is about to reveal the true identity of the Caped Crusader when...*BANG!*BANG!* Now: Two shots ring out. Someone close to the stage. The Riddler falls to the ground. The Riddler's been shot! The Riddler's....dead. The party panics. Riddler's men quickly retrieve the body and like everyone else, they rush to flee the scene. Bruce Wayne in his domino mask surveys the crowd. He notices a cold hand slip confidently, naturally back into a coat, smoke gently dissipating into the moist air. The killer. Who momentarily stops and turns, looking directly at Bruce...and winks! Bruce pushes towards the gunman but the party is in chaos, and the wave of partygoers are forcing him back. The gunman slips away. He knows he can't be seen here. He hears the whispers. "The Batman did it." "The Batman was here.""Batman killed Riddler." Bruce is aware that his name is on the guest list. Everyone will be a suspect. But who was the murderer? How did he know? Why silence the Riddler? He only got a glimpse. Strangely familiar. A cold chill races across his spine as he makes it outside. Alfred has the boat waiting for a quick exit. Batman's identity may have been saved, but he's never been in more danger. The city won't sleep until Justice is served!
    • To be continued.....Who shot the Riddler!?!

"Down & Out in the Bialyan Hills" (Part 3)
    • Bialya, Baby! The gang has finally arrived. The Royal Palace awaits. This shouldn't be too difficult. Queen Bee is offering one million dollars to two of the most capable mercenaries on the planet - Floyd Lawson and Thomas Blake, also known in the costumed community as Deadshot & Catman, to restore her to power. The mission is simple: Raid the Castle! All the boys have to do is infiltrate the palace, as quiet as a cat, take out the power hungry General who led the coup and sits on her throne, and watch the dominos fall. It's a land of peasants after all. Then Floyd and Thomas can cash their check and get back to the good life at Floyd's bar, or the African Jungle, to each his own. The Queen will wait in the chopper until she gets the signal that all is clear. Except for one little snag. (There's always a snag!)
    • The General isn't in charge. In fact, he's dead. Having played his part. Just a pawn in a game of family feud. It's Queen Bee's own snot nosed sister who rules the land and she's bought herself a gang of mercenaries to protect her interests. Looks like Bee wasn't exactly telling the boys everything. And right now, Deadshot and Catman are quite aware of the real situation and the s#*+ they just walked into - fifty of the world's deadliest hired guns staring them down. I hate %#*+ing ambushes! And then they see the boss, who obviously is playing his own angle here - Maxwell Lord!
    • "Welcome to Bialya, boys. I call them The Lord's Army, my own private peacekeeping firm. You may recognize a few faces, fellow assassins and vile bloodthirsty bastards like yourself. But we aren't hiring, so I assume you are here for other nefarious business. The way I see it. You have one option: Turn around and leave this country immediately, never to step foot in it again. You do that, you live. The alternative...well, these men haven't killed anyone since this afternoon so their getting a bit twitchy."
    • Looks like our lovable rogues are in a bind. To be Continued.....

    Plotted by KARMA LAD
    Written by GREG RUCKA
    Art by DENYS COWAN
"Please help me," she begged. "They killed my dad." At first Vic Sage thought she was just another nut looking for attention; who accuses a government superteam of murder? But Stephanie Brown's mysterious disappearance caused him to take a second look at her wild accusations against the Authority. No one would give the crusading reporter any answers. What really happened on the night Cluemaster was reportedly apprehended? That was...The Question.

    HAWKMAN #3
I'm enjoying the Thanagarian political intrigue and interested in seeing what happens next. I thought the way Katar handled Rok was very well done.

    THE ALL NEW SUPERFRIENDS #3
Oh god Manga Khan cracks me up. A little sad that Our Heroes didn't get many lines (they were nearly cameos in their own book) but L-Ron really stole the show.

    TEEN TITANS GO #2
Research to see what Spoiler is up to in other books. The evil robot duplicate plotline is always good for some smashy action! I may have to add this to my list.

    ACTION! #2
Superspeed for all was a neat gimmick but with such a large cast it was hard to give much spotlight to any one character. Liked how psychotic Thorn got with superspeed, though; that made perfect character sense.

    KRYPTO UNLEASHED #2
Still liking Krypto and Streaky but thought their rampage through Metropolis was awfully destructive. In hindsight I think it might have been meant as a Man of Steel parody. Creature Commandos as super-animal-control were fun.

    BLACK LIGHTNING #3
Had to try a Lemire & J H Williams collaboration. Liked the head games that Black Lightning had to play with his captors, and the art really captured that well.

    THE NEW INFINITY #3
Heck if I know what is going on in this story, but I like the whole JSA generational thing it has going. Glad to see Ryan Choi again. Still not sure what Dr Fate's team was doing though.

    OMEGA FORCE #3
I'm not sure about the shakeup in the team, but giving it some time to see if the new team clicks for me. Liked seeing Dr Light (the good one). The art was stellar as always.

    G.I. COMBAT #1
Pretty much had me at Sgt Rock versus Nazis, but the whole Kobra Konspiracy behind the Axis works for me too. I liked the retro look Aja gave the book.
