    Default Shere Khan vs Mufasa

    Shere Khan vs Mufasa

Let's go with composite versions of these two from their animated and CGI movies. How would it go?

Yeah, but my way is funnier.

I could bring up the fire breathing Shere Khan from the time he fought Simba. I mean if you want more serious feats, You could look at last time we did this match...

    Yeah...

The TL;DR for the last thread (my and a couple others’ argument anyway) is roughly “Baloo has ridiculous feats like ripping palm trees out of the ground, shrugging off hundreds of pounds of rock getting cracked over his head and holding up huge stone temples with King Louie.”

Then “Baloo goes up against Khan, grabs his tail and proceeds to get Indiana Jones dragged around at 40 miles an hour, ippon-seoi nage’d into the ground and then one-shotted by Khan.”

Shere Khan could probably merk the whole of Pride Rock or slaughter the stampede that killed Mufasa with his ridiculous high-end physicals.

In general Tigers have the advantage over Lions in a fight, being bigger, stronger, having better reach, more muscle mass, better able to fight on their hind legs, and better able to avoid attack. When the ancient Romans brought them to fight in the Coliseum the Tiger almost always won.

You win the thread for this note.
Why Are We Here?, by Pendaran

"...the Myths Transformed version of the legendarium, in which the Moon is Melkor's attempt to make his own Arda with blackjack and hookers."
    - Estrecca

"...dropping an orca whale made of fire on your enemies is a pretty strong opening move."
    - Nik Hasta

"[Kent] Nelson was nearly invariably presented as the guy who, barring the Spectre, made everyone else generally gasp and go "Doctor Fate don't shiv, he balls nasty.", even Superman."

    *bows head* “Rei!”

Every year or two I end up posting in some thread (usually some real-world martial arts thread) where you go “Oh, fellow judoka!”

Or something to that effect. It’s becoming a tradition.
