No shame in being weaker than Brave Maeve. She's one of the top tiers of the show so far.

The tree nut weakness is new though.

And it was made clear that he is indeed, not a clone.
    Of Homelander anyway.

Silly, but effective. If they think they can beat him like that, they won't worry about him as much.
Yeah, but if you... man, we're getting into weird analogy territory, like if you disintegrated Superman's arms he wouldn't be able to go "fool! Little did you know that my arms and I are one and can be remade from me!" and will his arms back into being from pure nothingness. - Pendaran

That's the thing, though. Black Noir killed the only guy who would have seen that damage, since he was the target. And while Black Noir had that moment with the kid and the stuffed animal, he was surprised that the kid was there, too, meaning he didn't expect that particular witness. You can't really intend to spread a rumor if you kill the only one who was capable of spreading the rumor in the first place.

(Wait, we're talking about BN eliminating that supe-terrorist at the beginning of the season, right?)

Nah if he went down to an almond or whatever. I'm admittedly flying into this blind.

    Aw Gawddammit.

Ok, that's more believable to me, sure.

On the other hand, tree nut allergies are no joke! Murderous villain or not, I really felt for the poor guy trying to reach out for his Epipen.

Gotta say the Show made the character a LOT BETTER than Ennis' comic. I cant wait for season 2
Eh, I enjoy the show and the comic about the same. I think that there's a bit of cultural misunderstanding who judge the latter a failure. Ennis grew up on British comics like 2000 AD which tend to be more openly satirical than American comics and less concerned with whether you can relate to the characters. I'm glad that the show made the changes that it did, but both approaches work imo.
