Sometimes it all depends on how many pages of story there are.

Yeah, if a comic is $6, expect it to have around 40 pages, not the 20 you'd get for the standard $3.99.

$3.99 is too much for comics. I can buy 2-3 three songs on Amazon or two used paperbacks for that money. I hardly see the value these days.

What's your source? And are these comics sold or comics shipped?

It the amount sold to retailers. They don't put out consumer-sold numbers.

The numbers typically published / referred to re: number of copies of a title in a given month are from Diamond Distributors, who provide the new comic books to most comic book shops here in the U.S. Those numbers are just the number of copies that stores order from Diamond and have nothing to do with how many copies are then sold to customers who patronize the stores. Those numbers also don't include most sales outside of the U.S., nor do they include digital copies (since Diamond doesn't handle those).
But those numbers are the only game in town as to what information is available to us.

Bleeding Cool does post Comixology charts every week, but we only have rankings from those, not actual sales numbers, and thus can't combine them with these direct market figures.

Even then, how many other sources are there besides Comixology for new copies of digital comic books?

You can buy digital copies directly from Amazon without going through Comixology (not sure why you'd want to since you can't subscribe to a series, and you can log into Comixology with your Amazon account, but... you can if you really don't want to use Comixology's reader for some reason) and Google and I presume Apple's app stores carry them. Comixology probably makes up the bulk of digital sales, because they make it a lot easier to keep them organized, read, and buy since i was created for comics specifically and their specific quirks, the other stores are really not designed for following a long running series. but... they are available elsewhere.

Top 100 comics are out. It's interesting to see that Immortal Hulk #21 is ranked 23. Very good, best than Avengers #22 (27) but not on the top 10 anymore.

It's still good that at least one of the two issues that came out in July made the top 10. When a comic is published twice in one month, especially if the comic doesn't normally get published twice-a-month, the second issue for that month may not have as many orders (especially if people forgot there were going to be two issues for that month).

    The numbers are here:
    https://www.comichron.com/monthlycom...9/2019-07.html

Savage Avengers 3 beat Justice League, Uncanny X-Men, and Avengers.
Silver Surfer Black 2 did well.
Invisible Woman had a strong start. Valkyrie Jane Foster I think had a disappointing start.
Captain Marvel is selling better than her previous series.
Secret Warps annuals did not do well. Don't expect to see much more of them in the future.

Ouch, 13k, that'd bad for Champions - no wonder it got the chop.

Kamala's solo also only sold 13k, yet her annual sold 15k, about the same as Secret Warps. That's not good, that means people aren't liking Saladin Ahmed's take on her.

Aero looks like a hit, but Sword Master isn't.

But wasn't Ms. Marvel one of those titles that may do really good in digital and in collected editions (like through Scholastic)?

Seems like taking Kamala completely out of her environment and into space for the opening arc of her new series wasn't such a hot idea.
