Interestingly Miles' single actually sold better this month despite dropping in rankings. Kind of goes to show how much the market gets flooded with #1s. :P

With numbers so close I’m wondering if stores just used 2017 trends to guesstimate how much to order after a giant sized #25 special.
Yeah, that's a big drop (not just from 25 but from 23 and 24, as well). Is it too snotty to say that maybe shops would know how to order after issue 25 if Marvel let more books get that far?

Champions seems to have lost 4000 readers suddenly. No wonder it got canned.

That's exactly what my store did. Retail Management Hero, our point of sale system, makes it easy to look at things like that. We have a LOT more data and ways to look at it now. But it still ends up being an educated guess. For example we were low on our orders for Symbiote #1 and way over on ordering Spidey's War of the Realms tie in. Luckily we hit Absolute Carnage #1 perfectly, which was extra important because it's an eight dollar book.
