It's like Marvel just remembered that they introduced an MCU version of Yondu into the comics and realized they have to do something with him, even though the prime time to do anything with him (around when Vol. 2 came out) is way gone.

Not that I'm completely against the book, but I have no major desire to read about MCU Yondu in comic form. The art looks kind of rough too.

Also, after Vol. 2 he just looks weird without the fin.

The almost non-existing fans who transitioned from the MCU wanted this one, for sure!

I like the creative team on this title. Might check it out in trade.

That's not Yondu, its Michael Rooker.
Reality is for those who are afraid of science fiction.

Says you. This book is gonna rule hard and I've been hoping for something like it for some time now.

It's a five issue mini. I did say it was a mini in the thread title.

Is it just me, or did 90s era Marvel not only have more impulse control but also better quality control? Yikes. But hey, at least Marvel isn't making gimmick hologram covers, not because they don't want to because they can't afford to

Well yeah. 90s Marvel had smarter editors.

So...current Marvel is making me nostalgic for a Marvel that existed right before the crash? Makes sense.
