If Apocalypse taught her the secret of immortality in Life 9, it's possible that Destiny's premonition never comes to pass because her path was changed drastically enough. It's not like we didn't see something happen like that within the Dairies storyline.
That's a really fascinating thought! I wouldn't be mad if that were the case. I am intrigued by the first wave of books (except Fallen Angels). I think we'll get wave 2 announcement at NYCCC in October. By then HoX/PoX will be done, the first issues will be out, or close to out and we will have a better understanding of where Hickman is going. I'm down for the ride.

As much as I am enjoying Hickman's drive and ambition, yeah, so far it has been very white(as X-Men without Storm tends to be). He better do something really good with her to justify that epic cover for #6. But so far, at least, I'm still onboard.

They all look fine until you see the creative teams and then it's like "ew".

Tbh I'm sure AoXM was crippled by the fact that it was a filler event to fill the space for Hickman's run. That being said I think the writers did ok with what they were given. Better than Uncanny at least.

Naw I'm pretty good with where Hickman is going with this story I think a lot of people need to stop thinking of this as and "X-Men" book and think of it more as a "Mutant book".

This isn't a team book and was never meant to be it's a story about the rise, fall, and rise of Mutantdom I'd rather Hickman tell that story rather than shoehorning in fan favorites to satisfy some fans. That being said I am hoping Storm shows out for HoX #6. Considering she has moments in X-Men #1 and Marauders #1 I don't think we need to start panicking just yet.

What? The only rookie in Phase 1 is Tini Howard.

It's just you. POXHOX covers so far don't seen to give anythng as to what the story is about. as the old adage goes, don't judge a book by its cover.

Unimpressed by the new lineup. I'm expecting most of these titles to mysteriously turn into mini series by issue 6.

Myself I can't wait for the next issue of House and Power and am hyped about the Dawn of X announcements. That has not happened to me for quite some time with the X-men Comics. Even with just the information we have now I am happy for the announced stuff. Preordering all series was a sure thing^^
