An actual short list for me this month. That usually means marvel’s gonna have a ton, though. And then I remembered the solicits from last month...

I hope everyone likes tons of Batman and Harley cause that’s what DC has on the menu.
Was anyone else kinda disappointed when they read this issue and the issues around it? It really came out of nowhere like a "very special episode" and had no impact in other titles (even though Speedy was appearing in Teen Titans) and no real consequences even in Green Lantern/Green Arrow, if I recall correctly (since Roy wasn't appearing there and didn't much seem to cross Ollie's mind). Then later other writers picked it up and worked with it. But, maybe I'm wrong and missed where it was explored - or even mentioned - in the following year. I certainly have read every issue of the era.
There are only a few books I am looking forward to this month.
I could not care less about Year of the Villain and I wish it didn't tie-in to other books. Supergirl has basically just been tie-ins to other things at this point, with the leftovers from Bendis' Rogol Zaar story and now Year of the Villain
“Somewhere, in our darkest night, we made up the story of a man who will never let us down.”
- Grant Morrison on Superman
Right there with ya.I could not care less about Year of the Villan and I wish it didn't tie-in to other books.
I hope that Blue Beetle's family doesn't get killed off while he's controlled by BWL.
Looking forward to Last God and Swamp thing giant - may also get involved in the war comics giant too if i know whats in it. Looks another good month from DC
So, no Doomsday Cluck #12 this month?
Will it finally come to an end before 2020 begins?
I was confused for a bit about several titles missing from the list, but then I remembered there were advance solicits with the October solicits.
Already subscribed to Action, B&tO, B&S, Batman Universe, Batman vs Ra's, Batman's Grave, Detective, Event Leviathan, Flash Forward, Hawkman, JL, JLD, JLO, LL, Martian Manhunter, Supergirl, Superman, SPJO, Superman: Up in the Sky, Teen Titans, Terrifics, WT, WW: Come Back to Me, WW, and YJ (plus SHAZAM!, if that ever continues).
From this list, I'll get the GL #85 FE, GL Blackstars, the Giants for Batman, WW, ST, and I'll probably give the CoIE one a shot, not the least because I'm curious what those 24 pages of new material are supposed to be, LoSH, Question, the Supergirl Annual, and I'm tempted to get Far Sector, He-Man, and the Mister Miracle Tpb (though that's in Ferbruary).
If it looks like a light month, make sure to keep reading past the statues for the solicits they included last month.
As for this, don't think I am changing much, although I might add Detective. I was not a fan of Mahnke's art on Green Lantern but something looks different on these covers.
Also lots of Black Label stuff I might check out but nothing I want to commit to.
Getting:
Justice league
Batman and outsiders
He-man: MOTM
Maybe: LOSH
