We have up to Issue 12 solicited so I'm not sure. It's doing okay in sales but it is slumping. My guess is that it's something to do with the release schedule not helped by the gluttony of Amazing Spider-man titles around it given Hunted ran through it and the various mini-series. Ironically Superior may be dying the same fate the spinoffs got during it's original run.

I won't be surprised if it's missing from the November solicits. With his identity outed, we're heading into the endgame now.

CG: Yes, although I think he’s made progress with that. In Spider-Geddon, we saw him acknowledge that he couldn’t do it alone…that he needed the help of others. That’s a big step for him. But his instincts are still often counter to what a hero needs to do. However, he’s now more likely to acknowledge other points of view are valid, and ask for help when he needs it. It goes up so far to issue 12 which is enough for a second trade. Given that it is bleeding sales (at least according to where I pulled my stats) I wouldn't doubt it come November that we don't see it.

While I enjoy this series I dont enjoy it as much as the first run of Superior Spiderman. THe first one really worked because it was different and unexpected. This one just doesnt have the same feel.

I've enjoyed both volumes. The first had the unexpected going for it as something new.

However, Christopher Yost is the definitive writer of the character.

While I like both runs I must admit the first was the best, IMO, if only barely.

Yeah, I'm sorry to say that it looks like I was right on both counts - the solicits did get released tonight, and Superior isn't in them. The book is ending.
