    It’s a fairly long time since I read the series (will have to re-read it sometime) and my memory is not the best..but I thought as series progressed there was some suggestion that she had meta gene because of her of her descent from Iron Munro, and certainly her lad (Ramsey) became exceptionally strong at a very young age.

    But..as you can tell.. I’m guessing a wee bit.

    Ah, okay - I've read the beginning of her series but lost track of her by the time the Iron Munro thing was revealed. A brief internet search shows that she might have some added resilience etc. genetically, but it has not been explicitly stated.
