DC's Low Level Powered Heroes Appreciation

I don’t know if it’s general belief, but I assume Kate Spencer (Manhunter) is a low powered meta...with increased speed, strength, endurance...I thought way her solo series effectively made her a sensible modern version of current Batman...no pretence that an ordinary human could do what Batman does. (I say “current” Batman, because he has been written more sensibly in some eras.)

Certainly Cameron Chase, featured in same series was a mid powered meta (able to remove powers from others in some circumstances).

Certainly two of my favourite characters.

Her darkstar suit gave her those attributes as explicitly stated in the book, unless she developed meta abilities later.

It’s a fairly long time since I read the series (will have to re-read it sometime) and my memory is not the best..but I thought as series progressed there was some suggestion that she had meta gene because of her of her descent from Iron Munro, and certainly her lad (Ramsey) became exceptionally strong at a very young age.

But..as you can tell.. I’m guessing a wee bit.

Ah, okay - I've read the beginning of her series but lost track of her by the time the Iron Munro thing was revealed. A brief internet search shows that she might have some added resilience etc. genetically, but it has not been explicitly stated.
