    Default Batman Metal

Hi! I am currently on issue 40 of scott snyders batman run. Can I start dark knights metal right after I finish Snyder's run or should i start reading Tom Kings run first? If i start with Tom Kings run when should i break to read Dark Knights MEtal. Thanks!

Metal is completely separate from Tom King's Batman book and neither series reference each other so you don't have to worry about that.

I would say if you wanted to go for a more complete Snyder experience, you could check out the 14-issue All-Star Batman book he did in between the main and Metal, but it isn't completely required to understand Metal.

At the very least do make sure you read the two Dark Days prelude issues, because they are very important to the core story.

Seconded. I would argue they are so important that it is ludicrous that they are sold separately.
