    Yes!

I want to read a book about this team. Toni Ho, Misty Knight and Diamondback are faves and this sounds like the sort of team where I might even see Songbird or Spider-Woman 2 (Julia Carpenter) in the future...

    No thanks.
Coates writing revisionist history is even hotter garbage than his contemporary storytelling.

The woman with the mohawk in Captain America isn't Storm. It's an extra and the coloring was wrong, it should be a white woman with purple hair. The colorist must have Storm on their mind or something.

i just assumed that it was one of the Grapplers.

anyhoo, i wonder how long it will be before they introduce the heroines who filled out the roster prior to Sue Richards, Jessica Drew, etc.

No, that's Storm in the panel - White Mohawk, dark skin, nothing to say.

    It's quite obvious.

I don't see (at least this current version) of pompous Illuminati types. From a time line perspective I would like to know when and how these folks came together.

Is Sue there because she has/had worked with Shield? Or because Cap likes her support of his side during Civil War 1?

Likewise some of the others. How and why, and when?

Very little was given on the background and origins.

We just know they are here to protect the American Dream. Or the Dream.

They may not be pompous but they can still make mistakes.
