Do you honestly believe that Universal does not want to make Marvel movie money?

If you have any source for your post, I would love to read it.
Here the the interview with Ruffalo about a solo movie

Because a company liked Disney isnt letting anyone Disttibute they're movie. They probaly tried to give Universal a fat check to walk away and let them distribute they're own movie. It's been stated a million times the contract is right of first refusal. All that means is Universal gets first option to distribute if they pass Disney can do it themself.
Course, that was a decade ago. In the here and now, the last 5 out of 6 MCU movies we've seen have all made over a billion dollars. If I were Universal, I wouldn't mind trying to get a piece of some of that.
Not that it matters. Marvel has gotten around Universal by simply telling Hulk stories in other movies.
Your taking a simple statement and making it into what you want. Universal does have the rights. The rights of first refusal, and Disney has probaly tried more then once to buy they're way out of that contract. Why universal is leaving money on the table idk. Maybe they hate Disney or maybe they know one day Marvel is gonna really want to make a Hulk movie bad and that payoff will go up or they will Cave and let Universal distribute a MCU movie. Who knows what the reasoning is. But its been stated for years Universal has rights to first refusal.
Yes, it clearly states the Disney has the production rights and can make a solo Hulk movie at any time. They have not because Disney does not want to share the revenues with an outside distributor. And it addresses the quote from Ruffalo.
There are 2 options here.
1. Universal does not want to make money. Kind of strange attitude, since they are not a charity.
Or
2. Ruffalo gave a glib answer or didn’t fully understand the rights situation.
You can still call Disney greedy/evil/corrupt if you want. Just say Disney is too greedy to share the revenues to give the fans the solo Hulk movie they want.
