    I only read Batman and the Outsiders.

    I would try more of each heroes "family" but I don't want to pay for and read 30 books for an event.

    I'd prefer to read the ancillary books to be honest.

    I think that a population explosion of Batman wannabes in Gotham City hurts the Caped Crusader's image a bit more than a similar super-baby boom in Metropolis would harm the Last Son of Krypton. The Batman is supposed to be this lone figure of the night, it's no good if he has to trade in the Batmobile for a Chevy station wagon to haul his bat brood to crime scenes. While Superman is supposed to be everybody's big brother and it takes nothing away from him if he's leading a parade of cheering super supporters down the main street.

    Rebirth Outlaws. At least to issue 25. Lobdell may get flack for other works, but his work with Jason Todd is really good, as is the character dynamic in Rebirth Outlaws.

Which family do you guys like?
    The Problem is the following:

    Batman Family has a consistent timeline.

    Superman Family NOT!!!!
    They dont have ties, like the Bat-Family.
    I mean Conner and Jonathan NEVER met and if I remember right even Conner and Chris never met.

    It would be different if instead of NEW52 Conner would have been present as Jonathan was born and the 2 grew together etc.

    Also Conner had NO or little family time with Clark, he spent more time with Clarks parents.

    I don't know let's see...

    Superman > Batman

    Lois < Selina

    Supergirl < Batgirl

    Power Girl > Batwoman

    Jon < Damien

    Steel < Batwing

    Connor > Dick

    Lana Lang < Cassandra Cain

    Val Zod > Tim

    Gangbuster < Red Hood

    Cir El > Spoiler

    Guardian < Nightwing

    So it looks like the Batman Family wins but I actually like Superman's more overall

    Those are some interesting pairings. I think I'd do it this way:

    Superman > Batman

    Lois < Selina

    Jimmy < Dick

    Perry < Gordon

    Supergirl = Batgirl

    Power Girl > Batwoman

    Connor > Jason

    Steel < Tim

    Jon = Damian

    Pa Kent < Alfred

    Ma Kent > Leslie Thompkins

    Lana Lang < The Phantasm

    Kenan Kong > The Signal

    Legion of the Super-Heroes > The Outsiders

    Maggie Saywer < Rene Montoya

    Tan Turpin > Harvey Bullock

    That's a dead heat as far as I'm concerned.

    Depends on how loosely you define the Superman family. In some ways the Legion of Superheroes and the New Gods Would be considered part of the Superman family. It’s funny, Batman is seen as a loner but his family of books tend to be more tightly connected to each other. Superman however has a family so Vast in scope, that individual parts of it can be spun off into their own franchises essentially. Supergirl teams up far less often with Superman then Batgirl teams up with Batman. And Batgirl teams up with the Robins quite often, while team ups between Supergirl and the Super boys (Kon-el, or Johnathan) are extremely rare. This is very weird when you realize that the Super family is often made up of blood relatives, while the Batfamily are pretty much tangential people Batman has met while crimefighting.

    Batman hasn't been a lone figure of the night since Robin was created.

    Batman's never been a loner, but there is a difference between having one Robin and having had 4-6 in his history.

    I prefer the middle ground. I don't want a Batman who never has Dick Grayson in his life, but I prefer a tighter, more intimate Bat-Family over X-Men: Gotham Edition. 3-4 members is the max I think, or even the set up for the early 2000s where there were 5 main members (Bruce, Dick, Babs, Cass, Tim) and Huntress on the side. But with the return of Jason, Damian and Kate's introductions, and later Duke of Harper, it can be too much.

    I think this is a pretty good representation of the families. I would just make a few minor changes.

    Superman > Batman

    Lois > Selina

    Jimmy < Dick

    Perry < Gordon

    Supergirl = Batgirl

    Power Girl = Batwoman

    Bizarro = Jason

    Conner > Tim

    Jon < Damian

    Steel > Azrael

    Mon El > Spoiler

    Pa Kent < Alfred

    Ma Kent > Leslie Thompkins

    Lana Lang < Talia

    Kenan Kong > The Signal

    Legion of the Super-Heroes > The Outsiders

    Maggie Saywer < Rene Montoya

    Tan Turpin > Harvey Bullock

    Krypto > Ace

    Streaky < Batcow
