In an exchange with Sony Pictures Entertainment head Michael Lynton, Marvel boss Ike Perlmutter recalled that Catwoman, a key character in the Batman world, was a "disaster" when played by Halle Berry on the big screen in 2004.

Marc Guggenheim is gonna do a spec script for "Jackpot". Id be more curious if she's a version of Mary Jane Watson but Sara could be interesting. He's practically creating a new character which is what a lot of the D-listers are gonna be.
Granted its a common screenwriting excersize but i dont know if it would pay off yet.

my suggestion for Jackpot is to have her be Zendaya's Michelle Jones. She already has a following that can boost the character, especially if the point is to create crossover opportunities.
Let me know when they do Mayday Parker on the big screen.
