"power does not corrupt, power always reveals."
Bloodwynd is such an oddball. 'Necromancy' is so not a typical superhero power...

Yes! I'd love to see more of some of the Gen 13, WildCATs, Wildcore, etc. particularly Taboo or Serge, two of my favorite Wildstorm characters, but I haven't really cared for any of their DC appearances. Post Image, the few that have shown up have been kind of bland, IMO.
Apollo and the Midnighter have fared better, but then I was never an Authority fan (being more of a Stormwatch fan who was not thrilled that these hyperviolent yobs replaced fun characters like Winter, Diva and Battalion).
I just got reminded of 3 characters that DC fumbled badly.
This Wednesday I picked up the reprint of Poison Ivy's first appearance...which also starred: the Dragonfly, the Silken Spider and the Tiger Moth.
All four were female crime bosses...but DC completely ignored the existence of 3 out of the 4.
You'd think Batman was inundated with distaff foes! (Really, he isn't.)
How could no one think that the Bat Man versus the (Silken) Spider Woman would be a good read!?!?!?!
Dragonfly could have become a Batgirl and Tiger Moth a Nightwing foe...or vice versa.
Something...anything...could have been done.
If DC had put forth the least effort, then Batman could have 2 or maybe 3 top-tier villainesses. (Probably 2 top-tier and maybe 1 second tier. She might have even appear in a cartoon.)
I don't know about that. Almost by definition, given the setup, the other three would have to have been proven inferior if they were used. I guess you could change the entire setup of Ivy proving herself best, but then you wouldn't have had those three at all.If DC had put forth the least effort, then Batman could have 2 or maybe 3 top-tier villainesses. (Probably 2 top-tier and maybe 1 second tier. She might have even appear in a cartoon.)
