Smile Could DC bring back Dr. Doom?

Y'know, just to irritate Marvel? Supposedly he died when he got trapped in an airtight mummy case, but maybe he was really good at holding his breath!

I guess so, but they may have limitations on using his name on the cover and stuff like that.

Then there's Dr. Doome who tangled with The Seven Soldiers of Victory. He disappered into time, so it would be logical for him to pop up in the present.

But the Seven Soldiers of Victory disappeared period, so who knows?

Definitely - at least until Captain Marvel can start using his name again.

Plastic Man did battle Dr. Dome in the 1960s.

Didn't Plastic Man have a Sphinx villain before Marvel?

A quick google search found a few of the character names shared between DC and Marvel:

    CAPTAIN MARVEL
    DOCTOR STRANGE (Stephen and Hugo)
    THE SCARECROW
SPIDER-GIRL (Marvel) / SPIDER GIRL (DC)
    THOR
    CYBORG (DC) / PSI-BORG (MARVEL)
    SABRETOOTH (MARVEL) / SABRE-TOOTH (DC)
    BANE
    CARNAGE
    CHEETAH
DOCTOR DOOM (MARVEL) / DOCTOR DOOME (DC)
    ARES
    MAGNETO
    ENCHANTRESS
SPIDER-MAN (MARVEL) / SPIDER MAN (DC)

We all know that DC had Captain Marvel first, but I was surprised to learn that DC had a "Spider Man" before Marvel's "Spider-man".

DC and Marvel also share Sandman--in DC's case, multiple versions of Sandman. I recall that they have an understanding where Marvel can't use Sandman as a hero and DC can't use him as a villain. But I don't know how true that is, since some of the Sandmen from DC have walked on the dark side.

And Sandman at Marvel reformed for a number of years. He was even an Avenger.
