What did you all think? I actually think Ewing pulled it off.

The main Ewing story was fantastic continuity weaving, as always. I look foreward to where it goes from here.
The non-Ewing bits were, on average, pretty great too. They do a great job spotlighting the diversity of subject and tone the Marvel Universe can do as well as giving us a great reason to have some of the masters return for a bit like Simonson. Good read.
Did they have a Namor story page?
Namor the Sub-Mariner, Marvel's oldest character, will have been published for 85 years in 2024. So where's my GOOD Namor anniversary ongoing, Marvel?
Technically no, but there was a Namora page.

Disappointed with the Fantastic Four situation. It was basically just Ben.
Sue and Johnny didn't even appear.
Be sure to check out the Invisible Woman appreciation thread!

I thought it was a great issue. The main story hooked me and I enjoyed most of the shorts.
We need better comics

The main plot by Ewing was VERY interesting and got me hooked from beginning to end. I wonder if that'll tie with the big December event coming up, considering it looks like there are some cosmic elements in both stories.
There were a lot of great filler pages, but I think they should've balanced character cameos more. Some characters got multiple pages and appearances while others were barely or weren't even in the book at all. Hopefully they make up for that with issue #1001.
I was blown away with Ewing's weaving together of continuity. Even some of the pages that weren't by him were part of it as many of the heroes were being interviewed by the same character. I can't wait for 1001 now.
Was the Korvac bit at the end supposed to be in the GotG 30th century?
Any variant choices for anyone? I grabbed the Allred sixties version which turned out to be my favorite of all the versions I've seen online and in the shop.
Too many stories and artists I liked for me to bother to name here, but overall I really enjoyed this. Well worth the 10 bucks. Also, I'd like to give Ewing a special applause. Sure he's setting up stuff for the future, but it takes a special kind of writer to build the ground work for this entire shebang and yet managed to tell his own story in just a few pages.
