Default Favorite British actors/actresses in the films?

Apart from most of two of the prequels, which were filmed in Australia's Fox studios, many of the studio scenes/interiors from the films were shot in Britain; Ealing, Elstree, Pinewood studios and Leavesdan. This is part of the reason why there's so many British actors in the films. Even some characters were later dubbed over were British actors; a lot of the Rebel pilots, for example, were British actors, as well as many of the actors; this is quite clear from the cantina scene's rough cut, which had Dr. Evazan with quite a thick accent. Although not British, this also explains why John Ratzenberger appearer briefly in ESB, as he was living in London at time (Which also explains his roles in the first two Superman films, likewise filmed in London).

Alec Guiness, Peter Cushing, David Prowse, Jeremy Bulloch, Denis Lawson, Daisy Ridley, Downhall Gleeson & John Boyega are of course the 'big' ones, but there's many others worthy of merit; Kenneth Colley, who played Admiral Piett, Michael Sheard as well (Who had a ton of other roles, including roles in Indiana Jones) and of course Julian Glover, who would later become the main villain of "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade" but for "Empire" got the relatively small role of General Veers, who vanishes after the film's first act (This is mainly because it was intended that Veers get killed off; there's a deleted scene in which a snowspeeder-piloted by Hobbie-hits his AT-AT's cockpit.)

    LOL" the 'big' ones"
Anthony Daniels, part of every film since 1977, completley forgotten on that ^ list .

It's always fun seeing what character Warwick Davis will appear as next.

As for favorites I'll go with Alec Guiness and by extension Ewan McGregor.
    And Ian McDiarmid

Oops! on the Anthony admission, also should have put Kenny there too.

A lot of the Rebels were british actors and actresses too, although many were dubbed in post. Take Gold Two for example ("The guns, they've stopped!"). I'm pretty sure he's voiced by future Simpsons guy Harry Shearer.

If you are talking about the ‘big’ ones my list would have to include Alec Guinness, Peter Cushing, Ian McDiarmid, Christopher Lee, Ewan McGregor, Liam Neeson, Peter Mayhew, Kenny Baker and Anthony Daniel.

Edit: Also a mention for Ray Parks. His character wasn’t really fleshed out in the one film that he was in but Darth Maul still remains a very memorable visual character of the series.

Trying to consider all the British actors who made a memorable impression really go to show how well in general the movies did with casting (some duds in the prequels, but it happens, and even then you got the standouts).
Doctor Strange: "You are the right person to replace Logan."
X-23: "I know there are people who disapprove... Guys on the Internet mainly."

Which casting duds in the prequels are you referring to?

Not sure Hayden Christensen and Natalie Portman did as well as they should've. I think Lucas's weakness in directing actors is more to blame, but there it is.

Man I've nearly completely different list. Christopher Lee, Liam Neeson, Ewan McGregor, Ian McDiarmid I'd absolutely count among the 'big' ones along with Cushing and Guiness.
