So issue 21 of Cates’ Venom run is the start of a new arc called Venom Island.

You won’t find a bigger Bagley fan then me and he is one of the very best Venom artist ever. That being said, I’m not sure if his style works as well as stegmans for this particular Book.

Well, it's obvious this won't be like Spider-Island, as this seems the same island where Eddie and the symbiote decided to retire after they believed that they managed to kill Spider-Man. Of course, Peter only faked his own death; and it had to reveal himself to Venom when he needed his help to stop Carnage for the first time.

I agree. #346 and 347, but 347 especially, are incredibly creepy. With Larsen's art, the whole story is basically an increasingly bedraggled Spider-Man barely holding off the literal walking sarlacc that is Venom:
