Cassandra Cain (she doesn't need to be black bat or batgirl)
I think she counts as a spinoff of Batman.

With this requirement, who are your 6 heroines?
I'll do ten members, as many past teams have been more than the big 7.

    Black Canary - Leader
    Wonder Woman
    Vixen
    Nightshade
    Starfire
    Fire
    Ice
plus Martian Manhunter, Firestorm, and Batman

The more I think about it Star Sapphire is an interesting character that could benefit from the growth she'd get in the JLA.

I'd like any color of Lantern other than Green, actually. Earth has six plus Greens these days, and it's gotten boring.

But probably counts as a derivative of a male hero, so not suitable for this particular thread.

I was a little iffy on whether she would count as a derivative or not. Her history is kind of long and a little complicated.

Derivative may be iffy, but I think "spin-off" is a slam dunk.

Hawkgirl? She debuted in the same issue as Hawkman, so they need not be considered spinoffs of each other.

Wonder Woman, Black Canary, and Vixen feel like a strong basis in any case. Raven and either Nightshade or Black Orchid can round out the team.

actually, while Sheira debuted in the same issue, she didn't become Hawkgirl until a year later and based off Hawkman's design. In fact, IIRC she created her costume by literally taking one of Hawkman's spare ones. So she's definitely a derivative/spin-off character (though I personally like Hawkgirl more than Hawkman)
THE SIGNAL (Duke Thomas) is DC's secret shonen protagonist so I made him a fandom wiki

also, check out "The Signal Tape" a Duke Thomas fan project.

    currently following:
    • DC: Red Hood: The Hill
    • Marvel: TBD
    • Manga (Shonen/Seinen): One Piece, My Hero, Dandadan, Jujutsu Kaisen, Kaiju No. 8, Reincarnation of The Veteran Soldier, Oblivion Rouge, ORDEAL, The Breaker: Eternal Force

And worth noting is that All-Star Comics #15 showed a female Starman, Doctor Fate, and Spectre as well.

    Later revisited in Starman #69.
