Question Which Star Wars Trilogy are you more looking forward to? Rian Johnson's or D&D?

Assuming they both get made, which of the trilogies are you more looking forward to? You must choose one, no third option.

I hadn't seen anything mentioned at the recent events, but I assume they're still getting made.

With almost zero information available about these projects how does it make sense to look forward to one over another?

Creator's prior work. In the same way that I am anticipating Reeves batman because I thought what he did with the apes movie was great.

The names alone don't sway me in one direction or another. So I won't know till I hear the concepts.

Probably D&D because they haven’t proven they don’t know what to do with SW and theirs might actually be made.

Exactly this. You can have a director whose previous work you love and a boring story or a director you're not a fan of but with a story that sounds amazing and of the two variables the story is by far the more important element.

Johnson's; the guy showed he knows how the franchise ticks, can come up with good stories for the settings, and I like his cinematography. No familiarity with the other two, so I hope they do well, since they're up first.

Wow why wasn't neither an option? LOL!

As far as looking froward, my choice; The *Favreoni * Trilogy. Yes I'm calling it that!
They've already gotten approved for two seasons, hopefully it turns into three!

If you don't know who that is...

*coined it here. Now start using it!

Dave Filoni has proven himself to be the most capable at handling Star Wars properties. If only he were in charge of the sequel movies.

I didn't know George Lucas was an option? Clearly he made the worst SW movie(s) ever when he released the God Awful Prequels on us!

D&D are working on an Old Republic series which is my favorite era in Star Wars so if I had to choose right now, that would be the one.

Having said that, I'm not overly optimistic about either of these.

Without any context of the movies? I'll go with Benoff and Weiss.

Benioff and Wise without question. It was not just that I didn't like Johnson's "take" on Star Wars it was the fact that it was just a bad movie with some really dumb writing.
