yup. barragan was keeping up with and at times, outpacing soifong and soifong was one of the fastest soul reapers in the whole gotei 13. so teach is getting blizted.

add respira to the mix? he'll be saying hi to ace and WB in the afterlife in a hurry.

Massive AOE gravity effects should be effective through Respira, since Gravity doesn't exactly age, but I can't remember his effective range in it, and if he can use it in a way that doesn't pull his opponents towards himself, which would be the worst option available.

The only time he's ever used the gravity effect to throw away anything is when he's already absorbed something/someone into his darkness and then spewed it/them out.

And from what we've of the darkness Barragan can avoid it by simply not being standing on the ground.
