Ready or Not (2019) - IMDb
Yes that silly movie that crosses the most dangerous game with hide and go seek.
It felt like a Sam Rami movie where it goes from silly to horrific at the drop of a hat.
It is very formulaic, but fun.

Terrific fun. Definitely worth a trip to the theater, in fact, I might see it again before it leaves theaters.
It's one of those movies you don't want to spoil for someone else. Let's just say that you'll have a rollicking good time, unless you're especially bothered by graphic violence (Raimi-esque though it may be).
I know everyone's talking about how the box office is in a slump in the only big money makers are Disney properties, but if you're a fan of horror/thriller/monster movies this year has just been a cornucopia of of riches: Us, Ready or Not, Crawl, Happy Death Day 2U, Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark, Crawl, Godzilla, Midsommar - then we still have It: Chapter 2, The Lighthouse, and Doctor Sleep. Monster Kids are having a good year.
