Sounds like the pressure might be getting to Midway Mitch:
Mitch Trubisky wants facility TVs off to shut out critics
Mitchell Trubisky was recently quoted as saying he watched the TV copy of a loss this season in order to better understand how his outward appearance can affect his teammates.
Now he wants the TVs turned off entirely.
Trubisky's Bears are 3-5 and currently in last place in a competitive NFC North -- a division they were projected to win after doing so in 2018. Instead, they're battling to stay afloat and losing close games in frustrating fashion.
Their on-field results have produced a good amount of off-field criticism. Trubisky doesn't want to hear it.

AC Green was going to make his debut this weekend, but had a setback, and his ankle was swollen after workouts early in the week, and is now out again indefinitely. I doubt he sees a snap for the Bengals this season.

Washington has placed Trent Williams on the reserve/non-football injury list, effectively ending his season without him having taken a snap for the team.

This move also is a scummy act towards Williams who requested a trade due to Washington's terrible medical history with players. After it was revealed that Washington didn't diagnose for 6 years he had a cancerous growth on his head that he had removed while gone ; they requested his medical records to see if this was true. Then to save money (and since they had treated Williams like shit all year anyhow) and kick him some more they put him on IR to save $6 million in salary.
The Redskins really make their own players want to hate playing for them.

That's hysterical.
There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!

It should be noted for the record that on 3-1 Jon Gruden called in Spider Y 2 Banana to the FB and got a TD

Antonio Brown is exposing Roger Goodell's unchecked power to shut players out of the NFL
Sometimes, the least sympathetic NFL figures end up exposing the league’s most undeniable issues.
That’s the space Antonio Brown occupies today. He’s a man with a litany of self-inflicted problems on his hands, whose two-month pseudo-suspension from the NFL is a concern for the league’s players and the union that is charged with protecting them. That’s not a popular assessment because it wades dangerously close to calling Brown a victim of the NFL’s judicial system. But it is an accurate assessment because there’s little doubt the league’s nebulous investigative purgatory — in which there is no guarantee of fairness, due process or expeditious action — had a hand in keeping him without a job.
We couldn’t say this before we knew for sure that other NFL teams were interested in Brown. But when the Seattle Seahawks did their due diligence on him and passed in favor of Josh Gordon, there was no longer an argument over whether an open-ended league investigation could be considered a problem.
Brown had interest. And according to a source close to the wideout, the league’s vaguely defined investigation into him became a hurdle. That alone is enough to raise an eyebrows about the power the NFL is wielding — especially the potential to leverage a cloaked justice system to warp a player’s employment prospects.
