And for the second time the refs screw the pats out of a td saying the runner was out of bounds when he was clearly in. Pats had no challenges left and had to settle for a field goal.

I hate seeing bad calls cost a team a game and thats what might might happen.

Really given how last years AFC Championship game went where Brady got a roughing the passer flag that allowed them to help win the game , people crying about how the Patriots getting screwed by calls now is pretty funny. They will likely get the calls come playoff time.

Im not really bitching too much. I just hate seeing bad calls affect the game this much no matter who the team is. I hate the pats and want them to lose. But I dont want bad calls screwing anyone this bad. Granted brady is not doing that well today so you can say they may lose without the calls. But it would be a closer game.

New England's pass block win rate in this game is 24% - less than half the league average. Hard to do anything when the O-Line has become garbage, which has been a large part of the story this season. The O-line hasn't had any real consistency due to injuries.

This was a hell of a win for Pat Mahomes. KC was major underdogs , went into New England's stadium and won on the road. The win gave them the AFC West again. Which is nice. Its weird how Andy Reid continues to get the most out of the Chiefs and a rebuilt defense.

The game showed what happens when the Pats Defense cant carry the game. When they run up against teams with talent like the Chiefs or Ravens they fold faster then Superman on laundry day.

Their D and easy schedule is why the Pats have the record they do.

The Rams turned up the heat on defense last night, holding Seattle to four field goals in a 28-12 win over the Seahawks, keeping their tissue paper thin playoffs chances alive.

The Raiders lost a game they needed to win, and now their season is done. Houston lost a game they should have won, and now they have to play the Titans twice for the division. The Patriots are fading, and I wouldn't be surprised if they lost to the Bills. The Eagles will be a complete joke if they lose to the Giants tonight.

Where the hell is Ghost Rider anyway? Hmmp, get it? Hell, Ghost Rider, Tennessee... actually parts of it are absolutely lovely.

The freakin' Tacks as much at it grates on me to say, probably have been the strongest in the AFC South this year. They ended the Colts season last week in dramatic fashion. I'm sure they could beat Houston, if not sweep. They've been physical and every team has had these dropout games and take a weird loss but they've weathered the season... with effing' Tannehill. Not sure if they'd get out of Wildcard weekend with a win but maybe they could compete and not get drummed like the Texans would. Good on them.

During the Pats game, it became abundantly clear to me that the refs this year are on the rampage. They are not going to overturn PI calls, calls on the ball spot, or any other call they made. I mean, they will sometimes, but the percentage is pretty low. Better to save your challenges for those plays that are more dubious, rather than trying to get refs to reverse a blatant bad call. Its just not going to happen.

The best game for me yesterday was Saints and 49ers. I hate both teams but that was quite the football fanatic's game.

Refs have been pretty bad this year, like replacement level bad, in tons of games.

    They need less rules IMHO.

Yes the refs were pretty bad in The Pats game. I dont know that the Pats would have won but screwing the team out of not one but two touchdowns and missing a blatant PI call was one of the worst I have seen this year.

Cowboys cut kicker Brett Maher, who had hot 3 FGs of 60+ yards this season, but was only succeeding on FGs of 40-50 yards at about 20%. They signed Kai Forbath (who spent last week with the Pats while Folk recovered form an appendectomy).
